SMS Privacy Policy

Note: This policy governs customer service-related SMS messages sent by an AI-powered voice agent provided by AI Agents 4 Business on behalf of our small business clients. It is not a replacement for our full Privacy Policy.


OVERVIEW

AI Agents 4 Business provides AI-powered voice answering services for small businesses such as plumbers, doctors, contractors, and other service providers. When a customer call is missed or unanswered, it may be forwarded to our intelligent voice agent. This AI voice agent may offer the caller the option to receive a helpful SMS message—such as a confirmation or next steps—based strictly on the caller’s consent.

We respect your privacy and want to be transparent about how we collect and use phone numbers during this process.


COLLECTION OF PHONE NUMBERS

Phone numbers are collected only when a caller initiates a phone call to a business that uses our AI Voice Agent service.

We collect opt-in consent by the following method:

During a Phone Call with an AI Voice Agent
When a business cannot answer a call, it is forwarded to a unique SMS enabled phone number managed by AI Agents 4 Business. Our AI voice agent answers the call and may offer the caller the option to receive a one-time SMS for service confirmation or status updates. Consent is obtained via voice prompt (e.g., “Press 1 or say “yes” to receive a confirmation by text”).

We do not send SMS messages unless the caller has provided clear consent.


USE OF PHONE NUMBERS FOR SMS

We use collected phone numbers solely for customer service-related communication, such as:

  • Confirming a service request or inquiry

  • Providing next steps or appointment updates

  • Notifying the caller that a local provider has received their request

  • Confirming rescheduling or additional info

All SMS messages are sent:

  • Only after consent is given

  • From an SMS enabled phone number specific to the business brand

  • By an AI-powered voice agent provided by AI Agents 4 Business, not the business itself

We never send promotional or marketing messages.
Standard messaging and data rates may apply based on the caller’s mobile plan.


OPTING OUT OF SMS MESSAGES

Callers can opt out at any time by replying to any message with the following keyword:

  • STOP

Once opted out, no further messages will be sent unless the user opts in again on a future call. 


PRIVACY OF PHONE NUMBERS

We do not sell, rent, or share phone numbers with any third parties except as required to deliver this service (e.g., SMS carriers). Phone numbers are used exclusively for the purpose of facilitating service requests between callers and the business they contacted.


ACCESS TO SERVICE WITHOUT SMS

SMS is optional. Callers may decline to receive text messages and still receive service through a phone call or other follow-up method.


CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may revise this policy as our services or legal requirements evolve. Updates will be posted here with a revised effective date.
